Found these today on IKEA’s site.  I had seen them on the photo blog of one of my most favoritest photographers EVER.  You can barely see them in the right bottom corner of this  post’s photo…but they look awesome!  I’m planning a trip to IKEA in June, and I can’t wait to snatch some of these up!  Btw, isn’t her work amazing?  Yeah…I am so saving up for a session with her in OC - forget college fund, i got my Tara Whitney fund!

I got to photograph one of my favorite families last weekend.  I met them last year when I photographed their lil guy as a baby…in fact, an image from their session won the Image of the Year contest on my blog :) 

I always have so much fun with this family - and seriously, could they BE any more laid back? Mom & Dad are both super sweet & lil D…well, he’s just an absolute doll!  T&K - enjoy the sneak peek!  I enjoyed every minute of our session Sat morning

Nothing new here today…just had to post this shot of a little cutie from last Monday!  I’m almost done with your gallery, Stacey!

This baby girl was the perfect model!  Curly, sleepy, and oh-so-sweet!  Just the way I like ‘em :)  She was 6 days old, which is my favorite age for newborn photos -for this very reason.  This sneak peek is for her parents, who I know are VERY excited to see these :)  Thanks you guys for sweating it out for me during our session!  For those of you without newborns, I ask the parents to keep the thermostat at a balmy 78 degrees -so we are always sweating, but the naked babies loooove it :)  It is definitely worth it!

If you haven’t been over to my site lately, go check it out.  I did a mini facelift yesterday and I’m excited about it :)  What I’m most excited about is the awesome new tunes I have now!  I have been wanting some new music for the site for a long time now…but haven’t found anything that I felt really “fit” with the style of photography I do.  Then it got put on the back burner when I got slammed with scheduling spring sessions.  Fast forward to a few wks ago, when I came across this group through a friend’s blog.  I right away downloaded the entire CD for Charlotte b/c I knew she would love it (and so did I).  After hearing a few of the songs a few times, I knew this was the music I had been looking for!  I contacted Renee&Jeremy, and was ESTATIC when they gave me permission to use their music!  (In case you didn’t know, that is a big deal.  All music is copyrighted, and it can be next to impossible to have music on your site/blog that is by a recording artist, unless you do it illegally - and many do - or pay thousands for permission to use).  ANYway - all that to say - I know have some new music that is just rockin my world!  So check out my site, and while you’re at it, check out Renee&Jeremy.  You will fall in love with them just like I did…what’s not to love?

I had so much fun photographing this lil guy this morning!  His momma & I have been planning his session since before he was even born :)  He’s also a Baby Plan baby, so I get to see him lots this year :)  We couldn’t have had a more perfect day today…gorgeous, breezy, and 75 degrees.  Add in a happy baby and it’s a perfect session

We are dealing with a bad cold & potty training today, so I think it’s the perfect day for rain.  I love it when the weather forces you to stay inside.  I tend to get so busy that I don’t take time to just sit and snuggle all day with my baby girl (who every day gets closer to dropping the “baby” part).  It seems we are always running here or there, filling our days with errands, the library, or playdates.  But today we’ll work on filling our arms and hearts with each other.

Today we’ll enjoy a little rain.
