finds.

No photos to share today, so wanted to share some great finds instead!  Here’s a few of my fave things I’ve found in the last few weeks!

I have to start this by saying, you all know how much I *heart* Etsy.  We have been trying as a family to  buy more locally made stuff (including groceries, which is not so easy!)…and avoid the mass retailers (always hated going there anyway).  Etsy may not always be locally made stuff, but it is always hand made - often by stay at home mamas like myself.  So I can feel good knowing my money is going towards them, and not a giant corporation with underpaid employees.  :)  Did I say how much I love Etsy:)

for a little girl (or the little girl in all of us) - check out these adorable pony holders:

you can see more of stellbean’s fabulous shop here

I just got these vinyl chalkboards from Wallies and they have been SO useful!   I have them above my workstation in the kitchen.  I use one for my weekly menu/daily cleaning list, and the other for my workflow to do list.  Keeps me on track (mostly) :), and they certainly look cuter than a gazillion post it notes.

Another Etsy fave: I’ve been drooling over this pocketbook by seller quietdoing since before Christmas!  Won’t someone  buy it for me?  Pleeeeease?

Ok, I am in serious lust with this apron by retromama.  actually, i want ALL of her aprons - in every print!  her full aprons are super cute, too!  she’s on flickr and etsy - so look her up!  some major talent there.  wow.

Ok, I think that’s enough for now!  I have a never-ending list of awesome stuff I’ve found, so keep an eye out for another edition of “finds”.  :)  Have another shoot today for the uber talented Jessica from Peas&Carrots (remember this post on the old blog?)  Can’t wait to work with her models & handbags!  Will post some images from that over the weekend.

Ciao!
