It’s CONTEST time!!
Ready for another contest? I decided it’s been much too long since I gave something away, so here goes!
The scoop: Everyone who leaves a comment before tomorrow (Friday) 8pm CST will be entered to win a Peas&Carrots zippy! I have been a fan of Jessica’s boutique for a long time, and am so excited to share the love :) I will draw a name tomorrow evening and announce the winner on the blog Saturday morning. I have a zippy & I use it EVERY DAY. It goes everywhere with me…even Jessica when she saw me with it one day said “wow, you use that alot!”. Guess it was time for me to wash it, lol :)
The reason: My blog gets between 80-120 hits a day…but only a handful of comments. For all you lurkers out there…I’m calling you out! :) Plus, it’s fun to give stuff away!
The catch: your comment MUST include ONE of the following:
1) What was your favorite part about your experience with Summer Knobloch Photography?
2) What would you like to see offered in the future by SKP?
The bonus: An extra entry will be given to anyone who links this contest from their blog! Make sure to include a link to your blog with your comment so I can add that extra entry on for you
You do not have to be a client to enter…so tell your friends!
Good luck!!

Katie M wrote: My favorite part about our session with Summer was how comfortable she made our family feel. She is so personable and easy to work with and my daughter loved her! She is also very quick on getting proofs done and your order in. Great customer service! Great experience! (08/07/08, 11:40 am)
Kelly wrote: Summer, our favorite thing about SKP is the photographer. Her talent, attention to little details, and sparkling personality makes the whole experience fun and exciting! We love our photos...a beautiful moment in our baby's life captured forever! Our family looks forward to many more sessions as our girls grow! (08/07/08, 11:49 am)
Nicole wrote: We love the fact that you came to our home to photograph our newborn daughter. Since it was during the winter, it was a godsend to not have to get her out in the cold, yucky weather. You made us all feel so comfortable and relaxed. And thank you for taking over for a bit so I could take a much needed shower :)We cannot wait to have more sessions with you in the future. Christi Hutson wrote: I loved everything about out whole experience with Summer! She was so easy going, and she takes the most fabulous photos!!! She captured my daugher's fun loving personality in each shot. I couldn't have been happier!! (08/07/08, 12:05 pm)
April C. wrote: My favorite part of our session (besides the actual shoot) was when we were leaving... Summer kissed both of my girls on their foreheads when she said goodbye..not only was it sweet, it said a lot about Summer..First of all, Summer is a Mom, who loves kids, and it shows. And secondly, Summer has a way of putting every one at ease, she's laid-back, easy-going and understands that there isn't always going to be 100% cooperation from the little people. She takes the time to connect with you and get to know your family, provides beautiful images, and is a great person to work with - and that's why Summer is my fav! P.S. I linked you on my blog! :o) (08/07/08, 12:07 pm)
Emily Zeller wrote: I LOVED how Summer's sweet, caring personality. Her pictures were exceptional as well!!! Prices are reasonable and her turn-around time was great. (08/07/08, 12:21 pm)
Callie wrote: Well, besides the company (wink), my favorite part is how laid back you are with kids. You don't get frustrated and stessed (like I do). (08/07/08, 12:29 pm)
Holly Burkhardt wrote: I was fortunate to have Summer take Lilly's pictures when she first started tossing around the idea of becoming a photographer. I LOVED her ideas for pictures at the botanical gardens. Not only did we capture a picture but we captured memories. I must say that my favourite part was the storyboard she made of my daughters loving affection towards Charlotte. I think you are very creative and love how you capture the personality of each client. Love you babe and can't wait till i see you again. www.hollyburkhardt.blogspot.com (08/07/08, 1:10 pm)
Jill wrote: My favorite part about my experience with Summer was the fact that she was so laid back and got my 10 year old to come out of his shell. He was so excited to take pictures with her, if you know T you know that he is usually pretty shy. She also capture both of my boys spirit in the pictures that I've seen so far, and I love that, I don't have many pictures like that. My boys loved Summer so much that they colored her pictures for her fridge and they are still talking about her to everyone they talk to. Summer is just plain fun to have a photo shoot with! LisaP wrote: My favorite thing about SKP (or Summer) is her ability to capture something completely unique and beautiful in every shoot. I love looking at your blog because you never capture the same type of image twice. Even with newborns, I am amazed at how individual and miraculous each baby is. I LOVE that your purpose is to capture what a child looks like on that day of his life. You are so right, those are the best memories!!! Plus, you gave me the most BEAUTIFUL images of the last baby I will have...priceless! (08/07/08, 3:25 pm)
Michelle wrote: Several of my friends have had their children's pictures with you and just loved all the pictures you took and how great you were with their kids. I got on your site back when you had a photo contest to vote for them. I love your site and It would be neat to get my kids pictures done with you in the future (I have a 3.5 year old and a 10 month old)! I actually recognized your husband Matt from your pictures as well. I remember hanging out with him and his friends at good ole Schooners back in the college days (I always tagged along with my friend Jon) :) Love checking out your pictures. You do such a good job. It looks like the best job in the world (besides being a mom of course)! (08/07/08, 3:45 pm)
Kelly R. wrote: You did a photo session with my sister and nephew. I loved the moments you were able to capture, the quality of the photos, and the turn around time after I placed my order. I look forward to having you photograph my son in a few weeks. (08/07/08, 4:17 pm)
Sara C wrote: We simply adore Summer! It is so difficult to find someone who truly photographs PEOPLE, especially children. It seems like most photographers who do on-location and/or children take adult studio style and try to translate it into a natural light environment simply b/c it's trendy or b/c they have a camera and think they can. Summer simply has a passion for children and for what makes each of them unique - from the itty, bitty newborn up to the pre-teen older brothers and sisters. The 3 times she has gifted our family with images she has taken the time to see what makes our son (and now daughter) who they are and who they are to us, their parents. And in a very ethereal way like only a true artist can. (08/07/08, 4:41 pm)
Katie wrote: Summer- My favortie part was how you captured my kiddos in true form. One thing I really like is the patience you express with James, and by doing that you got great photos. You did a wonderful job and I can not wait to get my prints. :) Future offerings.... HUM, maybe WEDDINGS..... (08/07/08, 4:57 pm)
Libby wrote: Summer! Though my experience with SKP hasn't been a photo shoot (yet, heehee), at the risk of sounding like everyone else I love the way you capture the essense of the children instead of a stiff, posed portrait. Your yawning, snoozing, round and curly little newborn shots are *so* fun, and they're a really neat way to preserve memories. I must also add, though, that my favorite shots are actually the ones you post of Charlotte and your family. You guys are so fun! When I make it to motherhood, I will definitely bring my little babes down here. You are so fun, and you do great work--almost makes me wish I was a newborn so you'd take my picture, heehee... or in the future you could do, er, "bigger kids" too?! ;) (08/07/08, 5:15 pm)
Melissa wrote: You take the most beatiful photos! I love the attention to detail and the great expressions that you've captured! (08/07/08, 5:25 pm)
Alice Jane wrote: I just spent forever looking through your adorable portraits. Oh, how I wish you were located near Seattle! I love that you take the pictures in a comfortable environment. I have to admit that the only thing I wish you offered is services in Seattle! :) (08/07/08, 8:49 pm)
Mom McLaughlin wrote: I love the calendars I get from SKP - even though I look at the pictures when I first get the calendar - each month I flip to the new month it is still surprise - and one I love. Thanks Summer! Mom (08/07/08, 10:00 pm)

Malory T wrote: I'll admit it, I'm a lurker! You succeeded in calling me out, so I will show my face! :) I check your blog almost daily and it's in my top faves! My favorite part: I love how much your spirit & character shine through your blog, website, and photography. I hope to meet you in person someday! You are #1 on my list for a birth session when we decide to have another baby. (a mama from Java Mamas) (08/08/08, 2:53 am)
Maggie wrote: The rules say you don't have to be a client, so I hope this counts. I do love Summer's photos, they ROCK! I think it would be pretty cool to have pictures of me and the newsboys all cool like that. :) HAHA. Like Libby said pictures of "bigger kids" too. :) Thanks so much for taking me to the zoo and lunch Summer. I love you and your family. (08/08/08, 11:42 am)

Ashlee wrote: my favorite experience with Summer, is she is so easy going, and made me feel like everything with Peyton was going to be just fine. The short time i got to know Summer, i felt like i had known her for years. She is the most amazing person you can ever meet. It sucks the way we have to meet, but she is someone i will definatly never forget. Thanks so much Summer. (08/08/08, 4:47 pm)
