siblings.

Last week, Charlotte was super sick. To my great delight, she spent the better part of it sleeping on me. We’ve learned to work around my bulging belly and still make room for her. Matt took this at my request - I had to have it -she was sleeping so sweetly on her baby brother. I will treasure this always. Someday so will they.

I just know they will be the best of friends. <3

biding time.

Just a snapshot from the past week.  We’re hanging in there at the Knobloch household.  Excitedly preparing for the newsest little one’s arrival.  I’ve been trying to take it easy the last few days as it seems my body is getting ready a smidge earlier than it should. Hopefully the little guy can hang out in here a couple more weeks, and then we’ll be good to go!  :)  We’ve been enjoying the sunshine the last few days…the breezes have been perfect for drying diapers on the clothesline…sigh :)  Little miss C decided she wanted to help - and yes, she picked out her clothes that day (as she often does) ;)

It’s getting close, folks!

this & that

I apologzie for the quiet blog the last week or so…I’ve been a busy little bee getting ready for this new baby to arrive!  Today was disinfect/clear out/rearrange-the-nursery-day.  Whew!  Thank goodness for my mom’s help or else I wouldn’t have lasted to see it finished :)

I know I promised “after pics” of miss C from the rollers…so those are below :)  But first - has anyone else seen this trailer?  Or am I the only one NOT to have seen it until now? The one disadvantage to not having TV - you miss all the good movies coming out!  Thank goodness for youtube :)
I am SO excited about this movie!  This has been one of Charlotte’s favorite books from the time she was one year old.  You HAVE to watch this trailer if you are a fan of “Where the Wild Things Are”…it looks so good!  Can’t wait to take C and my nephew D to see it!

Last but not least, here’s an “after” shot of my little Shirly Temple :)  This was after I sprayed and combed her hair to calm them down a bit - they were super tight curls.  She loved the result :)
