For those of you that follow me on Facebook, you know that my hubby just took me on a surprise getaway for my birthday! (btw, if you care to know anything & everything about my life, you can “friend” me here) The week before, I was told not to make any plans for the following week. Each day after, I received clues throughout the day…some made sense, others I think were simply to stump me Once on the plane, Matt gave me a folder with all the information for our trip…including my final clue and a sweet love note about why he was doing this for me. Sigh… <3

The destination was Disney World, and we stayed at the gorgeous Wilderness Lodge! Don’t let the name fool you…this resort is tricked out to the max Our days consisted of laying by the pool, playing on the beach, taking the boat to Magic Kingdom, eating at Downtown Disney, and haVing ice cream — every night We made so many wonderful memories. There is something so fun about spending a week with your little family in a small confined space! Or maybe I’m just crazy :)…but I love it!

I left my pro camera at home and took our little Rebel DSLR with us - with a session 2 days after we got back, I didn’t want to risk anything happening to my main squeeze It was fun to use my lightweight camera again, and it really has held up pretty well the last few years! If you’re looking for a new camera, the Rebel really is a great catch Here’s a tiny sampling of our week - enjoy!
