I’ve had the privilege of watching this family grow from 1 baby to 3. What a gift to be able to follow their journey and be a part of their lives for the past 3 years. After two beautiful girls, they have welcomed a handsome baby boy – Niko. Don’t you just love his name? The momma also happens to be Katie, who has done administrative assistant work for me for the past couple years. I am truly blessed to be a part of their lives, both personally & professionally. I loved how true to life these images were – especially how sweet & innocent his two big sisters were. It was a joy capturing these images for them.

So…our friends keep having babies! :) Matt & I have been so blessed to have several friends expecting to have babies over the course of just a few months. These two are some of our closest, so it was super special for me to photograph them! I think they have been anticipating this session even more than I have been :) Mr. Graham would not sleep one wink for us this session – depsite me proclaiming myself as the baby whisperer – ha!, so I am going over for a sleepy-baby-playdate one morning this week to snap some of him alone. However, we did still get some beautiful family images that I can’t wait to share with you. Here’s just a teensy sneak peek for his momma & daddy.

This family has much to be thankful for this year as they celebrate the adoption of these precious twin babies. What a tremendous blessing! This was such a treat for me as it was my first session with twins :) The mama of these beautiful babes is a dear friend, and I feel honored to have documented their journey.
Just a tiny peek…

p.s. thanks to my awesome assistant Katie for (literally) being a second set of hands for me :)

This year, I got THE best birthday present – a dear friend of mine welcomed her third son into this world :) Today I got the chance to meet him and snapped a few photos while I was there. He is SO sweet and beautiful! Is it okay to say a baby boy is beautiful? Because he is :) And the eye contact? Unbelievable for a newborn.
Isn’t he just breathtaking?

We’re here. Just enjoying this slow pace of life that comes with having a newbie in the house. He’s everything and more than we thought he would be. He fits into our lives just perfectly.

This little angel is the daughter of a friend of mine. I shot her newborn session a few weeks ago and still have not showcased her session….until now :) Thanks for being so patient, B! I’ll have the rest of your gallery completed soon!
Isn’t she the sweetest? She didn’t want to fall asleep for the longest time, but when she finally did – she curled up like a pro :)

-and because I can’t post without an image, here’s a sneak peek for a momma waiting on her newborn album to be delivered. I loved creating this album for her, and cannot wait to see it in all it’s gorgeous-ness :) I love seeing these puppies printed up in person – they are just to die for!
This is a 2 page spread from the album:

I HAD to post another one of this lil baby in her cute hat :)
I’m telling you, if you scroll down and see this photo, you WILL get baby fever. She is just SO sweet! Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Oh, that sweet face, fuzzy arm hair, teeny chin…makes me want another one right now :)
We’re off to a carnival at our church – perfect thing to do on a rainy, dreary evening. Our good friend happens to be one of our pastors and is sitting in the dunk tank…looks like we may be buying lots of tickets tonight :) Have a cozy weekend!

things have been busy around skp the last month! our first round of fall sessions was in september, with a few newborns and child sessions thrown in there, too. i havent been as prompt as i like in returning emails due to my efforts going towards proofing 24/7. i felt like it was only fair to post a smattering of photos from the last month to show what i’ve been up to… :)

this being my busiest season of the year, please allow 48 hours for email replies. i wish i could be quicker, but being a one-woman show, it’s just not possible! i SO appreciate your patience and understanding :)
hugs!

is what this lil peanut was! she certainly gave me a run for my money this past week! in the 15 (?…not sure, I’ve lost count!) newborns I’ve done in the past year, she is the first to not cave to all my sleepy baby techniques. usually i have the parents oohing and aahing over the way i induce their baby into a happy coma while i photograph them (i can’t reveal my secrets, sorry!) :) …so i think this lil girl decided it was time to humble me :) in the 5 hours total i spent with her, i think she cooperated for a combined 30 minutes! (is that right, mom & dad?) she was a little stinker! mom says she just liked me so much she wanted to stay awake and look at me :) at any rate, we got some amazing images in those 30 minutes, and i had to post one of my faves as a peek for her patient parents! this hat was a gift to them (I LOVE it when my clients want to use their own items for their newborn sessions) – and the minute i saw it, i knew we had to use it!
thanks r & r for letting me crash at your place for SO long (and multiple days!) to get these images! i promise it will be worth it when you see your full gallery! you guys are awesome, plain and simple.
p.s. thanks for the milkshake :)
