I am a self-taught photographer and have had the privilege of photographing hundreds of families across Central Illinois for four years now. My photographic style is journalistic, with a lot of lifestyle thrown in and a slight editorial vibe. It’s about as eclectic as I am.

A few things you may want to know about me:

- I emotionally invest myself in each and every session. After your session, I feel like a part of your family & often treat you as such. Don’t be surprised if I send your child a birthday card or remember your wedding anniversary. I just can’t help myself.

- I love a hot cup of coffee and can’t start my morning without it.

- I hold a degree in Veterinary Technology and worked in the field until we started our family. While I miss certain parts of that field, this career in way better.

- I have an amazing husband who supports me in everything I do. He works hard so that I can pursue my dream as a photographer AND a stay at home mom. How awesome is he?

- My favorite challenge at a session is finding the perfect light. I am in love with gorgeous sunflare, backlighting, and the golden glow of the sunset.

- I thank God every day for the gift of my children. With one in heaven and two here at home with me, I deeply understand the treasure that children are. It’s part of why I do what I do.
